Every January, Hunter Rowe celebrates the successes of the prior year with an event called Hunter Rowe Awards Night.
It may not be as big as the Olympics, but to us it’s like winning gold. The agents are super competitive and all highly motivated so it’s fun to get everyone together and recognize the unbelievable year we had as a team. Together we sold 212 homes in 2013!
This awards night was especially memorable for me because I had my best year selling real estate and now I have the hardware to prove it!
My awards include:
- Gold level award for average days on the market (It took me an average of just 28 days to sell a home in 2013. The Triangle average is 103).
- Silver level award for 25 or more homes sold in 2013.
- Bronze level for over 4.5 million in sales volume.
- Best year ever in sales volume.
- Best year ever in number of homes sold.
But the award I’m most proud of receiving is the Breakthrough Award for having the largest increase in production over last year. Being a sports fan, I compare it to winning the Most Improved player award!
It feels good to be recognized for all the hard work, but I couldn’t do it alone.
I share these awards with my team including client services manager, Jan Carmody, who works hard ‘behind the scenes’ to take care of my clients.
There are many vendors like painters, carpet installers, kitchen and bath remodelers and stagers who make homes look their best so they can sell faster.
And most importantly – my family. My wife, Brianne, has been my biggest cheerleader since I made the decision to get into the real-estate business. I couldn’t do it without her support.
I was very humbled to accept these awards and it gives me inspiration for 2014.
My goal this year is to sell 50 homes and give every one of my clients the best home-buying or selling experience – so they can feel like they’re getting a piece of gold too.
