Although born in Central Florida, Tera considers herself a true North Carolinian. She and her mother relocated to a small town in NC when she was a young teen leaving the Florida heat behind for good. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile and Apparel Management and Marketing at NC State, the obvious choice was a career as a Sales Representative for a Brewery. Okay … maybe not, but with a passion for beer as well as a marketing degree it was an exciting first career. After spending time delivering great beer and outstanding customer service to Western North Carolina, Tera pursued her interests in Textiles as a Senior Merchandising coordinator for a company in Greensboro, NC. There for over 6 years she honed her skills managing daily client contact, product development, and process improvement working with one of the largest athletic companies in the world. Then she and her husband Tim relocated to Cary, NC for a job offer at his alma mater. The Triangle is always where they wished to start and raise a family and were excited to be back to the place they considered home. What brought Tera to Hunter Rowe Real Estate Agents & Advisors was the totally different approach they offer. Having been in the Sales and customer service industry for years, the process that so many agents follow is a transactional approach to real estate where a deal is a deal and then it’s done. The customer service centered approach to residential real estate is what cemented her decision to join a team and use her prior experience in customer service, sales and marketing to best serve and support clients looking to buy or sell their homes.
In her free time, Tera loves spending time with her husband and daughter Arden at the local parks, library or other events the triangle has to offer. She also enjoys refinishing furniture she finds at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. Beyond that you can find her and her family at their favorite Mexican restaurant every Friday night!
