Zumba is just an excuse to dance and still count it as your “workout” for the day. I teach all different formats of group fitness but Zumba far surpasses them all. When I teach a 55 minute class my heart rate monitor reads right around 600+ calories burned! It can be a great cardiovascular and muscular endurance workout! The class consists of about 12 different pre-choreographed routines set to popular and Latin music. Most of the routines have 3-4 different patterns that are repeated so it is easy to catch on and follow ensuring you can get a great workout.
