Laurie brings a cross section of experience to her work in Real Estate, which she has been delighted to find often gives her clients an upper hand. Laurie’s background spans from Marketing to Technology. She worked as an Art Director at Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in NYC until moving to the tech world where she worked as a User Experience Designer. Throughout the evolution of her career, she has always gravitated towards roles where she can deliver a positive and uplifting experience for her clients. She has discovered the same joy through guiding clients through the Real Estate process. She understands that moving is an inherently stressful process, and she enjoys going the extra mile to make the transition as smooth as possible for those she has the pleasure of helping. Her insistence on a positive experience for her clients coupled with the negotiating, marketing, and technology skills she’s picked up over the course of her career have made her a stand out Real Estate agent that clients adore working with.
Originally a northerner, Laurie has grown to love her community in North Carolina. Her Mississippi-born husband is a residential Architect in the Triangle, and they are currently renovating their mid-century modern dream home in Chapel Hill. When she is not negotiating offers or listing homes, you will find Laurie spending time with her young adult children, making art, crafting, biking, working on her home renovations with her husband, and of course, eating southern BBQ!
